New Haven announces the line up of its annual International Festival of Arts & Ideas
There's almost too much to begin to begin to describe: a Dinosaur Petting Zoo, a National Theatre of Scotland production staged in a tavern, performances—by jazz singers Angelique Kidjo, Dianne Reeves and Lizz Wright, by the Mark Morris Dance Group, by country rock icon Rosanne Cash—are among dozens of activities featured in New Haven's upcoming annual International Festival of Art &Ideas.
Lectures by Twin Towers high wire impresario Philippe Petit and traditional foods expert Dr. Daphne Miller, noon to night events on the Green featuring the Love Revival Revolution Orchestra, Inca Son, and the Old Town Gospel Choir -- plus films, walking tours, walking tours, foodie tours—and more and more and more.
