A Sole-ful Design
American Society of Interior Designers hosts philanthropic Style Your Sole event at NeoCon
Got a shoe addiction? Love giving back to the community?
We have the event for you!

In early June, the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) will host the Style Your Sole event to benefit Samaritan’s Feet at NeoCon in Chicago.
ASID’s 30,000 members are united by a passion for interior design. Chapters throughout the U.S. and Canada work to enact change through education, advocacy and community outreach programs aimed to celebrate the positive force of design.
From June 11 to 13, Style Your Sole will feature more than 200 pairs of the popular Toms shoes exclusively designed by renowned figures of the design community, including Venus Williams, professional athlete and CEO of V Starr Interiors; Dale Chihuly, celebrated glass artist; Susan Szenasy, editor-in-chief of Metropolis; Michael S. Smith, founder of Michael S. Smith, Inc. and interior designer for the Obamas; plus Michael Murphy and Alan Ricks, founders of MASS Design Group.
In hopes of warming souls and soles alike, all proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to Samaritan’s Feet, a humanitarian organization that seeks to provide shoes for people in need around the world. Inspired by Toms’ One for One mission (for every pair of shoes purchased Toms gives a pair of new shoes to a child in need) ASID will donate each pair to Samaritan’s Feet.
Shoe styling will take place 10 a.m.–12 p.m. and 2–4 p.m. on June 11 and 12 and 1–3 p.m. on June 13. The silent auction will close on June 12 at 4 p.m. Or check out the ASID booth #7-1086 at the Merchandise Mart for a perfect way to serve the community and get your shoe fix.
