A Dutch bike basket perfect for summer picnic excursions

With the official beginning of summer only a few weeks away, I have been thinking a lot about the unique elements of the season—one of which is being able to ride my bike. I was walking along Lexington Avenue in Manhattan, and saw the cutest basket in the window of Metro Bicycles. The basket just arrived from the Netherlands as part of Basil’s new summer collection. It not only hooks to the front or side of a bicycle, but can also serve as a picnic basket with faux leather handles that make it easy to carry into the park for a perfect brunch.
