Take a Look Inside a Revamped, Historic San Francisco Home
In San Francisco's chic Pacific Heights neighborhood, JKA Design revamped a century-old home into an elegant, contemporary space. Built in 1897 by renowned architect Edgar Mathews for the founder of the Irvine Company, the original house featured beautiful woodwork that came to dominate the style of the home, and kept it from feeling light and modern.
Sutro Architects updated the structure, while JKA Design refreshed the space with new paint colors and creative furnishings, preserving the history of the house without leaving it in the past. Experience the historic home below.
