Shop the Look of a Mid-Century-Inspired Midtown Loft

Noted photographer Brian Leighton's foray into interior design began simply enough. Friends, and friends of friends, would come over to his Midtown East apartment to buy photographs, and then ask him if he could design their homes. His approach: use his background in photography to play with light and texture, but focus on how these elements affect interior spaces and employ a mix of vintage and modern furnishings against a monochromatic backdrop. Shop the look of his stylish aerie, as featured in the October issue of NYC&G, with a selection of design finds inspired by his unique style.
