American Icons: Duralee
A focus on American brands and stories that are deeply rooted with a legacy of producing high-quality products.
Duralee believes in the fine craftsmanship provided by the American workforce and their craftspeople are artisans who have been mentored in upholstery in the American furniture heartland. The upholstered pieces of the Duralee Furniture line are sanded, finished, tied and sewn by the capable hands of these seasoned craftspeople. This gives designers the ability to customize many of the frames in order to adjust to any space, fit the specific needs of the homeowner and enhance their overall design scheme.
Family-owned and operated since 1952, Duralee has maintained a philosophy of excellent quality at a reasonable value – enabling it to become the fastest growing decorative fabrics supplier in the industry. From the namesake Duralee line of fabric and trimmings, to the HC Monogram brand of luxury products (Highland Court, Bailey & Griffin, Clarke & Clarke, James Hare, Lulu dk), to its distinctive hardware collections, Duralee has steadily expanded to include a wide range of products and styles at varied price points to fit any design budget.
Duralee is passionate about its furniture. With the launch of Duralee Furniture in 2003, Duralee became the first fabric supplier in the industry to produce their own upholstered furniture in-house – offering customers a one-stop shop for creating their rooms.
