On April 11 the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House held its annual fundraising spring dance at Cipriani 42nd Street. New York Cottages & Gardens Magazine was the media partner for the evening, which was sponsored by Rolex. This year's honorees for the fundraising event were Diana Quasha and Sydney Roberts Shuman for their longtime work with the LHNH.
The theme this year was “Spring Fever," whimsically executed by the Design Committee with Honorary Chairs Bunny Williams and John Rosselli. Design Chairs were Christopher Spitzmiller Michael McGraw and David Duncan. Spring was in full bloom as designer's displayed dramatic centerpieces on each of the 45 tables captured by Quintessence and New York Social Diary. Many of the tables were lush flower creations with themes like “A Spring Day in the Garden" and “Spring Awakening.” However, designer Ally Coulter‘s Ralph Lauren Home table was dominated by an edible version of the McKim Mead and White mansion based on the Grand Trianon at Versailles. Another table by designer Allison Hennessy entitled “Little Thatch Nights” evoked a tropical getaway with a huge umbrella. See more at the Quintessence blog.
