According to data collected by Property Shark in 2017, SoHo and Tribeca are among the nation’s most expensive places to live, but in the New York metro (excluding the Hamptons), even the townhouse-studded Upper East Side didn’t crack our region’s top 10. 

It comes as no surprise that trendy Tribeca tops the list (twice), but other expensive neighborhoods might just surprise you. Anyone up for a slice of Rye?
