‘Real Housewives’ Star Melissa Gorga Asks $3.5M for Jersey Mansion
Melissa Gorga keeps it real on Bravo’s Real Housewives of New Jersey, but now she’s also real sure she’s ready to part ways with the ornate 9,166-square-foot mansion she and husband, Joe Gorga, built in 2009.
The couple recently listed their home located in the exclusive Pond section of Monteville, NJ for $3.499 million, according to Realtor.com. With six-bedrooms, seven and a half baths, and space for a total of 14 cars to park, the house was built for large family gatherings.
On a recent episode of Open House NYC, the New Jersey native, who’s no stranger to the camera, gave a personal tour of her abode. In the segment, she reveals that she is responsible for all interior designs while her husband took care of building the magnificent structure.
Custom high-end details are on display in every corner of the house, starting in the foyer with a dual marble staircase and crystal chandelier. "It’s really open, it’s really white, I wanted everything in this house to be super bright," Gorga explained.
More is more in this lavish home as the TV star went on to say, “we want that wow-factor in every room when you walk in.” That mission was accomplished using elaborate molding and painted trim, silver and gold details, and Italian marble flooring. Outside, marble and grass surround a sparkling pool while a massive outdoor kitchen and seating area provide an ideal space for entertaining.
Jason Failla of Century 21 Wessex Reality has the posh listing, which also includes a home theater, hair salon, billiard room, and recording studio.
