J. Lo Just Listed Her Divine Manhattan Penthouse for $27M
Earlier this year, dailyDeeds reported the news that J. Lo had listed her Hollywood Hills mansion for a sweet $12.5 million, and now it looks like the woman dubbed a "modern-day Liz Taylor" has another gem on the market--the $26.95 million penthouse at The Whitman.
Listed with Adam D. Modlin of Modlin Group, the listing comes as rumors swirl that Lopez and her retired Yankees ballplayer beau are looking to set up house on the same New York City block.
Page Six reported that the A-list couple, affectingly called J-Rod, want to purchase a place large enough for their combined brood. Despite soaring ceilings and spacious living areas, the four-bedroom, six-bath Whitman penthouse Lopez purchased in 2014 appears too cramped considering A-Rod and J. Lo both have two children each.
In addition to four terraces, the penthouse occupies the 5th and 6th floors of the Georgian-style Nomad building, built in 1924. Natural light floods the entry foyer, which greets guests with 12'4" ceilings as they enter from the 5th-floor elevator.
The kitchen, located on the 5th floor as well, is stacked with stainless steel Miele appliances, accented with marble countertops and includes an open dining area.
The master bedroom calms with neutral color palettes and French doors that lead out to a lovely terrace.
