Kathy Griffin Finds a Buyer for Her Hollywood Hills Mansion

Kathy Griffin Finally Finds a Buyer For Her Hollywood Hills Mansion

After sitting on the market for over a year, Kathy Griffin’s Hollywood Hills house has finally found a buyer. The comedian, who tends to get in hot water for her controversial jokes, reduced the price on the listing significantly this September, which seems to have paid off.

Originally listed for $5.69 million in 2016, the 8,098-square-foot manse was last listed for $4.75 million, but has sold for an even lower $4.492 million according to Variety.

The home may have sold for less than Griffin was hoping for, but she still made a sweet profit considering she bought the home for $2.85 million in 2004.

Privacy and luxury are at the forefront of the three-story home that is tucked behind gates and positioned high above the street. The vast master bedroom occupies its own wing of the upper-level and boasts a seating area with a fireplace, a walk-in closet and dressing room, a bathroom complete with hair and make-up stations, and direct access to the outside pool through stunning French doors. Panoramic views impress from every corner of the house and a wraparound porch provides an ideal place to take it all in.

The former My Life on the D-List reality TV star completely remodeled the spread with an eclectic mix of styles. The five-bedroom, six-bathroom abode now features a mosaic tile pond in the foyer and whimsical pops of color throughout the house.

Steve Frankel and Andrew Vargas of Coldwell Banker had the luxury listing.
