Fleetwood Mac Bassist John McVie Asks $6.25M for Hawaii Spread

Fleetwood Man bassist John McVie is “Never Going Back Again” to his heavenly Hawaii home. The rock n’ roll icon listed his five-bedroom island retreat last week for $6.25 million and has no plans to acquire another residence in Hawaii.

Nestled on the slopes of extinct volcano Diamond Head, the lush property has been in McVie’s possession since 2006 when he bought it for $5 million.

The British rocker enjoyed the sprawling haven for over a decade, but is selling in order to spend more time with family in Los Angeles, according to Mansion Global.

The 1989-built home he’s hoping to unload boasts vaulted ceilings and massive spaces for entertaining. Outdoor dining and lounging areas surround a sparkling pool, providing a luxurious spot to sip a mai tai and watch the sun go down. Rich landscaping offers additional privacy to the sumptuous gated corner lot.

Patricia Choi of Choi International has the celebrity listing. McVie bought an L.A. spread for $6.775 million earlier this year, which is most likely where he’s making home on the main land.
