Eric Clapton's Former LA Home Lists for $5.495M

Triangular skylights illuminate the massive great room.Eric Clapton’s former LA bachelor pad has returned to the market asking $5.495M, nearly $750,000 more than its last listing price. The current owner, Stephen Meadows, bought the house from Clapton in 2004 for $1.415M and first offered it for sale in 2011 asking $2.5M before trying price tags of $5.195M and $4.75M.

The contemporary home is located off Venice Beach and spans about 3,000 square feet. Douglas Elliman’s Josh Altman, who shares the listing with colleagues Matt Altman and Juliette Hohnen, told Mansion Global that it features massive triangular skylights and 30’ ceilings in the great room. After Meadows purchased the house, he built a mezzanine that overlooks the great room and a fireman’s pole that accesses the first floor.

The living room features a red console under the TV.
