J. Lo and A-Rod just got engaged this past weekend, but before he popped the question, he gave his superstar girlfriend the perfect two-year anniversary present. The power couple just snagged a $6.6 million Malibu beach house in need of some refreshing, and A-Rod made J. Lo’s dream come true by bringing Joanna Gaines of Fixer Upper in to help with the project. It’s hard to imagine that J. Lo fan girls over anyone, but her interview on The Ellen Show shows that the HGTV star, designer, and mom of five is the exception.

Gaines and her husband Chip usually don’t work on any projects outside of Waco, Texas, but when a renovation for two of the most buzzed about celebrities in the world comes your way, you jump on it even if it's all the way in Malibu. Photos emerged of J. Lo and Gaines walking the beach and eyeing the house, so we can only hope there’s an episode being made about this exciting transformation.

The 4,400-square-foot abode is in no way shabby, in fact most people wouldn’t think it needs a remodel whatsoever. Huge open living areas and light-filled spaces will be fun for Gaines to work with and these two hot mamas will surely create a flawless result.
