Jackie O seems to be linked to real estate all over the East Coast with her stately childhood summer home in the Hamptons making headlines recently and now a spectacular Midtown building constructed by her second husband, Aristotle Onassis, stepping into the spotlight. Designed by the architectural firm Skidmore, Owing, & Merrill and located right next to St. Patrick's Cathedral, Olympic Tower is a glass masterpiece with a unique history. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, the building was home to fashion designer Halston’s studios and was often filled with Studio 54 royalty. Since then, it has not lost its stylish edge, which is abundantly clear looking at this $25 million duplex listing.

The 5-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom duplex sits on the 46th and 47th floor of the 51-story skyscraper and offers astounding 360-degree views of the city, park, and river—a feature buyers dream about. Sweetening the deal, high ceilings, walls of glass, and chic finishes are present in every space.

While the residence will be delivered empty, listing photos show contemporary furnishings that bring the unit to life. In the 41-foot long living room, a blue Fernando and Humberto Campana-designed couch made famous by Kendall Jenner’s $52,000 purchase sits on White Thasos marble flooring. A sleek eat-in kitchen around the corner is outfitted with white marble and stainless steel appliances. Across the apartment a 34-foot long space functions as a library/media room, boasting an 8-foot projector screen.

Upstairs, the master suite is the crown jewel boasting two bathrooms, multiple closets, and endless views from the comfort of a king size bed. Two more bedrooms find a home on this sprawling level and two others are located below.

The duplex came on the market in November 2016 for $33 million, according to Mansion Global, but has re-listed at a reduced price due to conditions in the market. A powerhouse real estate team is on the case now including Leonard Steinberg, Hervé Senequier, Calli Sarkesh and Amy Mendizabal of Compass and the De Niro Team at Douglas Elliman.
