Christie Brinkley Slashes the Price on Her Sag Harbor Village Home
We recently brought you news that Matt Lauer lowered the price on his palatial Sag Harbor estate and it appears that Christie Brinkley is following suit. The supermodel has slashed the ask of her Sag Harbor Village home, which we first told you about when it came on the market in October 2016, from $25M down to $20M.
The historic, white-columned Colonial was built in 1843 and includes many period details like wide-plank pine floors, oak bannisters and original fireplaces. The first floor features a sprawling kitchen with soapstone and marble countertops and a great room with casual dining and living spaces. The upper floors house the 5 bedroom suites as well as a study and terrace. The house sits on a 4.5-acre property, which offers a private beach, Gunite pool and landscaped gardens.
According to listing agent Enzo Morabito of Douglas Elliman, the new asking price is a bargain. He told Town & Country that the home needs some work and if “it didn’t need work, I would list it for around $40 million.”
