Completing a hat-trick trifecta of successful solo shows, Melissa Barbieri returns to Southport Galleries. Mastering the ancient art of fresco painting with a distinctively au courant coolness, Barbieri presents vintaged nautical charts. Combining archival research and stunning painterly skills, she spins a nautical compass from Maine to points throughout Long Island Sound and into the Caribbean.
