The Mattatuck Museum's New Exhibit Celebrates Thomas Moser's Woodworking



Thomas Moser's lifelong commitment to woodworking is being honored at the Mattatuck Museum's new exhibit.Thomas Moser’s lifelong commitment to his craft—woodworking—is being celebrated at the Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury. “Thos. Moser: Legacy in Wood,” an exhibit that complements Moser’s latest book of the same name, not only showcases his beautiful craftsmanship but also highlights the ways in which Moser changed the course of the woodworking industry by establishing a community that allows craftsmen to make a living doing the work they love. Moser’s company now comprises some 70 craftsmen and women and strives to continue delivering ethical and sustainable objects of beauty. Now through May 22, 144 W. Main St., Waterbury, 203-753-0381.
