Relaunching the firm's emblematic hideaway beds, Castro Convertibles has come up with an ottoman that transforms into a single bed. Masquerading as a footstool or coffee table, the bed is available in two twin bed sizes. You can choose between the 29" by 33" or 39". The footstools open out transforming into full size, comfortable beds fitted with 5-inch thick latex-free Castropedic mattresses.
Sold on the internet and shipped fully assembled, each is provided with one free removable slipcover with a variety of additional covers available. Mounted on large locking castors, the beds are easily movable and can be folded up with the sheets inside.

Bernardaud's delicate Anno Cup is ringed with a ribbon handle

With a handle that wraps around like a ribbon, Bernardaud's Anno cup protects fingertips from burning while drinking hot espresso, brandies or saki. Designed by French architect and artist Sylvain Dubuisson (who also created the light posts lining New York City's Columbus Circle fountain), the Limoges porcelain cups come with sashes in gold, silver and a range of pastels. New Emerald paints from Sherwin-Williams claim superior finishes that are environmentally friendly.

These products are described as washable, high hiding, long-lasting and eco-friendly. Besides offering maximum resistance to water streaking, staining, and spotting, the new formulations are self-priming and offer better indoor air quality than conventional paints by incorporating new ColorCast Eco Toners, which provide strong hues—more than 1,500 of them—without the addition of environmentally hazardous VOCs. Backed by a lifetime warranty, the new coatings promise long-lasting resistance to blistering, peeling, chalking, fading and mildew.
